The applicant has received approval to amend Development Permit No. 23-013 by adding a second storey to six of the units (“Home Type 2” units) out of the 14 permitted. The proposed second storeys require an amendment to the height variance for the four eastern units (strata lots 1 - 4 of up to approximately 2.0 m) and additional floor area for the site (approximately 6,140 sq. ft.). There is no change to the maximum permitted floor area for Area 6, as the floor area is proposed to be transferred from 3370 Chippendale Road.

The development permit for this proposal for a 14-unit cluster housing project comprising of one- and two-storey units with basement was issued by the District on October 30, 2023. The development permit includes variances to the zoning bylaw for building height, retaining wall heights, front yard setback and basement definition.
