Recycle BC has been responsible for recycling collection in West Vancouver since July 2020. For more information about recycling, visit the Recycle BC website.
- Blue box, grey box, and yellow bag recycling are collected every week
- Pink box recycling is collected every four weeks
All materials must be set out between 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on the day of collection.
Missed recycling collection? Need replacement recycling boxes or bags?
Contact Waste Control Services (WCS), Recycle BC’s collection contractor, if you suspect that your material has been missed, or to request delivery of replacement boxes or bags by calling 778-589-3223 or emailing Waste Control Services.
Drop-off depots

Who is Recycle BC?
Recycle BC is a provincial stewardship group funded by the businesses that supply packaging and printed paper to BC residents. Recycle BC was formed in response to provincial regulations, which shifted recycling costs away from taxpayers and on to industry.
