Seasons greetings,
On behalf of the Council, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a joyful holiday season and a happy New Year. This time of year presents a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the challenges we have faced and the achievements we have accomplished.
I am proud to have seen the completion of the Cypress Village plan, which includes the transfer of 262 acres of new parkland at Eagleridge for public use, the establishment of the Place for Sport, the installation of the Keen Lau Fitness Circuit, the opening of new Pickleball courts, and the successful completion of the first phase of the Ambleside Local Area Plan, and so much more. We on Council, are grateful for all the members of our community who have dedicated their time as volunteers, as well as the municipal staff who have worked tirelessly to bring these projects to fruition.
We appreciate all the hard work that has gone into making this second year of Council’s term a success, and we look forward to the next two years of serving our community.
Let us also remember those in need and extend a helping hand to ensure that everyone can experience the magic of the season.
