Development Permit 24-115 has been issued to British Pacific Properties Limited for proposed initial works within the Cypress Village Area.
The initial works include:
- phased tree and vegetation clearing (this is limited to a “Phase 1” area with subsequent phases requiring District approval)
- a “Phase 1” area of earthworks, rock blasting and removal
- an initial subdivision of land in and adjacent to the Cypress Village Area
- works authorized by senior levels of government
The initial works are to prepare the lands for the first phase of development consistent with the Area Development Plan for Cypress Village and Eagleridge.
British Pacific Properties Limited has given notice to the District that the permitted works will commence on January 13, 2025.
