Following the submission of a preliminary proposal, the District has received a development application for a 20-unit, multifamily development at 6155 Eagleridge Place. The proposal is for six single-family dwellings, three duplexes (containing six units), and eight rental units within a three-storey multifamily building.
The proposal is being considered under Official Community Plan policy 2.1.4, which aims to increase missing middle housing options with ground-oriented, multi-family dwellings on appropriate sites along the Marine Drive transit corridor.
The proposal requires a rezoning, including the opportunity for public input. The proposal is currently under staff review, and this page will be updated with any revised or updated plans, information regarding applicable committee review, public information meetings, and Council dates for consideration. No meeting dates have been determined at this time.

Preliminary development information
The District has received a preliminary development application for a proposed 19-unit, multi-family development at 6155 Eagleridge Place. The preliminary proposal currently includes eight rental units, seven detached residences and two duplexes.
The proposal is being considered under Official Community Plan policy 2.1.4, which aims to increase missing middle housing options with ground-oriented, multi-family dwellings on appropriate sites along the Marine Drive transit corridor.

This proposal has not been formally submitted as a rezoning and is still within the preliminary development application stage. Once submitted as a formal rezoning, the District will process the development application in compliance with the Development Procedures Bylaw that requires ongoing public consultation.
The applicant conducted a preliminary public information meeting on September 7, 2021, in an online meeting format.
The developer will now be reviewing the public comments received, consulting with staff and modifying the development proposal to address comments raised at the public information meeting. This webpage will be updated with further information on the project once received by staff.
