The District of West Vancouver Council had initially considered an eight-unit townhouse proposal at 2905 Marine Drive and resolved to deny the proposal on May 9, 2022 (see link to staff report below).
The proposal has now been amended to a five-unit townhouse proposal, with access to an underground parkade (similar to the original proposal). The revised development proposal will necessitate rezoning, development permit, and Official Community Plan amendment approval from Council. The development proposal was initially considered by District Council on October 7, 2024, a Public Hearing was held on November 18, 2024 and Council provided 2nd and 3rd readings of the bylaws on November 25, 2024.
