Prior to submission of a development application, a preliminary proposal was considered by Council on October 28, 2024. Council approved a motion to allow the proposal to proceed to public consultation prior to the adoption of the Ambleside Town Centre Local Area Plan. The applicant withdrew their application and a preliminary consultation meeting was not held.
