Following public notification of this proposal, the Director of Planning & Development Services approved this Development Permit on November 6, 2024.

October 2024

The owner of 1281 Jefferson Avenue has submitted an application for a Coach House Development Permit to construct a detached secondary suite (coach house).

The proposal would allow for a one-storey coach house to be located on the rear yard of the subject property. The following Zoning Bylaw variance is requested as per proposed plans:

  1. To vary the Floor Area Ratio (F.A.R.) of the RS4 Zone from 0.3 to 0.44

Council has delegated the approval of minor development variance permits to the Director of Planning & Development Services, subject to public input. Please provide your written comments no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, to make them available to the Director for his consideration.
