Traffic Data

Traffic data is essential to support a consistent, data-driven approach to planning, design, construction, and operation of the District’s road network. It is used to inform residents about vehicle flow, which increases community awareness, provides data for development planning, and assesses traffic impacts to guide infrastructure and policy decisions.

Each year, the District conducts traffic counts in various areas. Two main types of traffic counts are collected: bi-directional midblock counts and intersection turning movement counts.

Traffic count data is available to the public via the DataPoint Dashboard
