This physically accessible room boasts 40-foot ceilings and 5,000 square feet of polished concrete and glass. North and south entrance doors slide completely open to the Spirit Square, Great Lawn and Water Fountain. Featuring contemporary public art installations by prominent Canadian artist Gordon Smith, this magnificent space on the ground floor is the heart of the community centre and a great venue for community events (approval required).
The Lalji Family Atrium is also ideal as an extension to the Lily Lee Spirit Room. The Lalji Family Atrium is equipped with a 103-inch widescreen HD plasma display as well as a 65-inch HD plasma TV.
