On January 30, 2025, the Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs appointed an Advisor to the District. The notification of this appointment and scope of the Advisor’s review can be found here: Appointment of Advisor
Following the Advisor’s review, the Minister informed the District of his intent to issue directives as permitted under the Housing Supply Act. The Advisor’s report is attached to the Minister’s letter on May 21, 2025. The District provided a letter (dated June 10, 2025) in response to the anticipated directives.
