The District of West Vancouver has launched a busking pilot program, welcoming musicians, dancers, magicians, artists, and other street performers in select areas of Ambleside, Dundarave and Horseshoe Bay. Busking will be permitted from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and no permit or business licence is required.
This pilot program gives residents and visitors more opportunities to enjoy live street performance across the community while helping the District assess how busking can fit into West Vancouver’s public spaces.
Performers must follow noise, safety and access guidelines, and some location restrictions apply. The pilot will be reviewed by Council in the fall.
