Mayor Mark Sager, and Municipal Manager, Scott Findley, along with the entire District of West Vancouver, extend our heartfelt condolences to the residents of Tumbler Ridge following the tragic events that occurred yesterday.
We stand in solidarity and mourning with communities throughout British Columbia. We extend our sympathy and support to the people of Tumbler Ridge, including the families, friends, and first responders impacted by this tragedy.
To honour those affected, flags at West Vancouver Municipal Hall and other District facilities have been lowered to half-mast.
