Beginning Monday, July 7, the District began work to remove the home at 1444 Argyle Avenue to complete the continuous park space and improved access to the waterfront as envisioned in the Ambleside Waterfront Plan. Deconstruction is expected to take approximately two weeks, and the area will be reseeded as soon as the weather is favourable.
With the removal of the final property on the Ambleside waterfront, the green space connecting Ambleside Park and John Lawson Park will soon be complete. This extension of Brissenden Park is expected to be open to the public in fall 2025.
