Development Application - Preliminary Projects

January 2026 update

The District has received a development proposal for the existing 12-lot subdivision at Union Court: Lots 4 - 6 (2135, 2133 and 2135 Union Court); Lots 7 - 10 (2120, 2122 and 2124 Union Court and 2171 Skilift Road); Lots 11-12 (2130 and 2140 Union Court).

The applicant previously held a public meeting on it's plans for stacked townhouses on Lots 4 to 6 and apartment buildings on Lots 7 to 10 and Lots 11 and 12 on October 3, 2024. The three single family dwellings (Lots 1 to 3) facing Skilift Road (2101, 2111 and 2121 Skilift Road) are to remain.

Since the last public meeting, the applicant has revised the proposal to delete the proposed townhouses on Lots 4 to 6 and are now proposing an apartment building in similar design to the other proposed apartment buildings.

Please note that this is an applicant-led public information meeting on a preliminary proposal and is not a District event.

This is a preliminary development proposal and a formal rezoning application has not been received by the District. Should the proposal advance as a formal submission, the project will be evaluated under policies contained within the Official Community Plan and in compliance with the Development Procedures Bylaw that requires ongoing public consultation.
