Following public notification of this proposal, the Director of Planning & Development Services approved this development permit on April 15, 2024.

The owners of 870 Braeside Street have submitted an application for Development Permit 23-070 for the construction of a detached secondary suite (coach house).
The proposal would allow for a one-storey coach house to be located in the rear portion of the subject property. A zoning bylaw variance is requested, as per proposed architectural drawings, to limit site disturbance and minimize overlook into adjacent properties.
Council has delegated the approval of detached secondary suite (coach house) development permits to the Director of Planning & Development Services, subject to public input. Please provide your written comments no later than 4:30 p.m. on March 25, 2024, to make them available to the Director for his consideration.
