Council approved the bylaws at its meeting on August 13, 2020 to allow for 5 additional storeys to each building and to secure the additional rental units in perpetuity with a Housing Agreement.
June 2018
On June 25, 2018 Council approved the development proposal for the Gateway Residences to allow two mixed use buildings of 11 and 14 storeys each containing a mixture of secured rental units, District-owned supportive units, a District-owned child care centre, and ground floor commercial space.
