Development Application - Active Applications

An application has been submitted for an amendment to approved Environmental Development Permit (EDP) 22-108 for 1590 Kings Avenue to allow for retention of an existing fence along the south property line of the site. 

Modifications to the existing fence are proposed to meet the watercourse protection guidelines and a variance to the Zoning Bylaw is proposed to allow the fence to exceed the maximum permitted fence height. 

Council has delegated the approval of Environmental Development Permits to the Director of Planning & Development Services, subject to public input. As part of the consideration process, neighbours within 50 metres of the subject property will receive written notice about the application and will be given two weeks to provide comments to staff on the proposal.

Please provide your written comments no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 15, 2024, to make them available to the Director for his consideration.
