The District has received a preliminary development proposal for 1308 28th Street. The site is currently developed with a single-family dwelling. The preliminary proposal is to construct a triplex on the site. The proposed building is 2 storeys plus a basement and a sub-basement with parking for the units in the basement level with access of 28th Street.
The preliminary proposal is being considered under Official Community Plan Policy 2.1.4. which considers ground-oriented multi-family options along the Marine Drive Transit Corridor.
The applicant hosted a preliminary public consultation meeting on its preliminary development plans for the site on February 4, 2026. This was an applicant-led meeting and was not a District event.
A formal development application has not been received. Should the applicant move forward with a development proposal, this page will be updated.
