Want to report an issue with a street light? Street light issues include:

•  Light burnt out
•  Light is on during the day
•  Light is flickering on and off
•  Open, broken, or missing light fixture
•  Other street light issue

Depending on the type of pole, you can often report a street light issue directly to BC Hydro.

For street lights attached to wooden poles

For street lights attached to BC Hydro poles, typically wooden poles, submit a repair request to BC Hydro.

You can also submit a repair request to BC Hydro by contacting 1-800-BCHYDRO (1-800-224-9376), Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For street lights attached to metal poles or other requests

If the street lights are not attached to BC Hydro poles, typically metal poles, fill out the form below or contact the District's Public Works Dispatch. You can also fill out the form or contact us if your request is for a new street light, removal, or modification.
