Every year, Mayor and Council, the Municipal Manager, and District staff work together to create an annual budget and a Five-Year Financial Plan. This budget balances today’s needs with future planning, helping ensure financial stability over the long term. It funds services including police, fire and rescue, bylaw enforcement, parks, community centres, cultural programs, the library, capital projects, and much more.
We want to hear what matters most to you. Your feedback will help guide decisions about 2027 services, tax rates, and budget priorities.
Take the questionnaire
Help shape a budget that reflects your community’s values! We want your feedback on the municipality’s budget priorities before Council starts its budget discussions.
A second round of engagement will take place in early winter, when the proposed budget is shared with the community for review.
This questionnaire closes Thursday, September 10 at 4 p.m. and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
