heat warning

Update: Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for above seasonal temperatures and an air quality warning for today, Wednesday, July 22.

Temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 30s, with overnight lows in the mid to high teens. The sweltering weather will also be combined with poor air quality and elevated ground-level ozone, or smog, from wildfire smoke.

The recommendation is to limit outdoor activity when possible. Conditions are expected to improve by the weekend with a change in the weather.
