Keen Lau Fitness Circuit now open in Ambleside Park

West Vancouver Mayor, members of Council, and community supporters prepare to cut the ribbon and open the Keen Lau Fitness Circuit

Mayor Sager and members of Council celebrated the opening of the new Keen Lau Fitness Circuit in Ambleside Park yesterday. The opening event was attended by community partners and supporters, all eager to see the equipment in use.

Personal trainers from West Vancouver Recreation demonstrated how to use the equipment, showcasing a wide variety of exercises for different skill levels. Members of the public were then invited onto the circuit to try it for themselves.

This new, free-to-use facility is located in Ambleside Park, just east of the Peter Sullivan Skatepark and the multi-use sports court. The outdoor fitness equipment includes pull-up and parallel bars, sit-up benches, a climbing rope, and more, as well as an accessible tricep press, shoulder press, and butterfly/reverse fly.

Funding for this project was contributed by Ledcor Group, Park Royal, West Vancouver Foundation, and relatives and friends of Keen Lau.
