Join the West Vancouver Yacht Club for a spectacular day on the water as they celebrate the official start of the Southern Straits Sailing Race!
Watch the excitement unfold just off the end of the pier as participating sailboats carry out their formal race start procedures. With vessels passing within 50 feet of the pier, you’ll have a front-row seat to all the action.
Experience the thrill as more than 80 boats compete in this historic race. Join spectators gathering to cheer on the fleet and soak up the festive atmosphere. Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the Lions Club, lively performances by the West Vancouver Pops Band, fresh coffee, and more.
