Citizen participation on committees boards and working groups are key to helping Council make better decisions on behalf of all residents.
If you are a West Vancouver resident and would like to volunteer to serve on board, committee or working group, opportunities are available as follows:
- The annual call for volunteers concluded in November 2016 and Council will be reviewing all applications and making appointments to boards, committees and working groups in early 2017, and when vacancies subsequently occur.
Updated May 2017:
- The District is developing a plan to revitalize Horseshoe Bay Park and is now accepting applications for citizen members to be on an advisory group to assist with public engagement and the design of the new park.
Deadline to apply: June 16, 2017.
Vacancies generally occur at year end, but may also occur at other times during the year.
You may submit an application at any time. Application forms are available in Legislative Services at Municipal Hall and at westvancouver.ca/volunteer. Select the Community Involvement Application Form for boards, committees and working groups.
