Do you or your organization carry $2,000,000 Comprehensive General Liability Insurance?
The Licensee must, at its own expense provide and maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with insurers licensed to operate in the Province of British Columbia in an amount of not less than Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) or such other amount as District of West Vancouver may require inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use thereof.
Such insurance must extend to cover the Licensee, its officers, employees, volunteers and contractors and shall name the District of West Vancouver, its officers, employees, agents, volunteers and contractors as additional insured with respect to any liability arising out of the use and occupation of the Facility or District of West Vancouver property or arising from the exercise of any rights or privileges by the Licensee arising out of this License. Such comprehensive general liability insurance shall contain a cross-liability and severability clause, and it must contain a clause that the insurer will not cancel, change or refuse to renew the coverage without first giving District of West Vancouver thirty (30) days prior written notice.
