Tree Cutting Permits

Review the applications and details regarding cutting trees on private property and how to apply to cut trees on public land.

Tree cutting permit: public land

Municipal Boulevard Tree Permits are required before any tree work can be done on public land, boulevards or parks, on private property near streams or in covenanted areas. More Information

Tree cutting permit: private property

With your certified arborist’s report, you can apply for a tree cutting permit for private property at Municipal Hall from the Land Development Department. An Interim Tree Bylaw is in place to protect identified trees. More Information
