In accordance with the Development Procedures Bylaw, notice of consideration of the proposed environmental development permit for 3171 Westmount Place was given to owners and occupants of all parcels of land within 50 m of the subject site. The permit allows for renovations to the first storey and the addition of a second storey level to the existing single-family dwelling and include minor zoning variances.
The proposal also includes a new covered front porch, new exterior stairs to the basement, and removal of the second driveway crossing to the southeast of the subject site. Following neighbourhood notification, Environmental Development Permit No. 23-030 for 3171 Westmount Place was approved on January 3, 2024.
