Join in on some festive fun at the Gleneagles Community Centre, West Vancouver Community Centre, Aquatic Centre, Ice Arena, Seniors' Activity Centre, and more!

The Spirit of Giving: Indoor Cycle and Strength Jingle Mingle Class
Join us for our Christmas Jingle and Mingle Cycle and Strength Class! Come ready for a fun and energetic indoor cycling class followed by a one-hour social. Please bring a non-perishable food item or gently used adults’ clothing item for the Harvest Project. A collection box will be set up in the main foyer. Feel free to bring a shareable holiday snack. Coffee and tea will be provided. Instructor: Velda Williams.

The Spirit of Giving: Community Christmas Cardio Pump and Holiday Mingle with Group Fitness Team
This is our annual festive fitness fiesta! Join us for a tag-team, hi/lo cardio class and light muscle conditioning, all to your favourite Christmas tunes. Regroup after the one-hour class in the Lily Lee Spirit Studio from for treats and mingling. Registration for the class includes the après mingle. A Harvest Project collection box will be set-up in the Lily Lee Spirit Room for donations of non-perishable food items, or gently used adults’ clothing items.

Christmas Drop-in Fitness Classes

Christmas Cardio Step
Join us for a high-energy step class that includes patterns and routines to music. Finish with strength exercises and a relaxing stretch. Low-impact options are provided.

Christmas Core on the Mat
Feel grounded with core-focused strength exercises done from a mat, including clam shells and leg circles. This is a Pilates-inspired class designed to stretch your muscles and calm your nerves during the busy holiday season.

Boxing Day Hatha Yoga
Stretch deeply while improving posture, balance, and strength in a moderate, full body routine. Shed tension and cultivate calm with breath control exercises. Increased body awareness will lead to alert relaxation. Stretch out for savasana at the end of class. This is a good introduction to other forms of yoga.

Boxing Day Cardio HIIT
Get out of your comfort zone in this this 45-minute, High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class. Sweat through short bursts of different exercises of up to a minute each, then recover before you repeat. Use bodyweight, plyometrics, and other equipment. Must be able to safely increase your heart rate during exercise, although everyone is encouraged to work at your own level. Taught by a personal trainer.

Skate with Santa!
With a little Christmas magic, Santa will take time out of his busy schedule to visit the Arena. Bring the family to skate with Santa and enjoy Christmas snacks and refreshments! Skating will be unlimited during this two-hour time slot. Cost includes food and skating.

Skate rentals are $3 each; $13 per family member attending (adult and child 3y+). Children under the age of two will not need to register to participate. Please ensure that you are registering every family member who will be participating. A staff member will check you in when you arrive.

Parents who are looking to watch do not need to pay for the event.
