The Silk Purse is now open.
Built more than 50 years ago as a honeymoon cottage, this waterfront building is home to the West Vancouver Community Arts Council (WVCAC) and the Silk Purse Art Studio.
The WVCAC hosts workshops, exhibits, concerts and cultural activities for North Shore citizens to enjoy and participate in. Wander through the gallery, take in local art, a literary event or a musical concert, all while enjoying the view of English Bay.
The Silk Purse Art Studio is the location for children’s art programs, after-school courses and the spring break Arts EXPRESS camps, a summertime favourite for children up to 11 years old. Check out the Leisure Guide for program information.
