Looking to play some noon hour hockey or enjoy a pleasant evening skate? Check out the arena drop-in information and hit the ice!

Adult Noon Hour Hockey

Come out for an exciting lunch time sweat. Limited to 20 players and two goalies on a first come, first served basis.

Players
Call after 9 a.m. on the day you wish to play to reserve your space.

Goalies
Call after 9 a.m. on the Wednesday prior to the week you want to play to reserve your space. Goalies play for free.

Note: There may not always be two goalies or enough players to form a full game.

Kids Only Stick & Puck

Kids, hit the ice and sharpen your skills! Limited to 26 skaters, including parents, on a first come, first served basis. Kids must be 13 and under to play.

There are 10 spaces available to register for the entire season. 

The remaining 16 spaces can be reserved after 9 a.m. on the day you wish to play. A maximum of three names will be taken per call.

Drop-in participants must check-in and pay at the start of the session. If not on time, the spot will be released to the next person on the waiting list.  A helmet with a cage or visor, hockey gloves and a hockey stick are mandatory. Full gear is recommended. No goalies, drills or scrimmages.

Note: Adults are only permitted on the ice when accompanying a child and must reserve a spot for themselves. Due to the program’s popularity, participants can only sign-up for one Kids Only Stick & Puck session per day.

Open Stick & Puck

Looking to play some hockey? Limited to 26 skaters on a first come, first served basis. Skaters must be 14 years and older.

There are 10 spaces available to register for the entire season.

Intro to Preschool Hockey

A fun introduction to fundamental hockey and skating skills for preschool children. The minimum skating requirement to pass is first stride or being able to skate the length of the ice without falling. Skaters work on Level 1 skating skills as well as passing and shooting. Plastic sticks are provided if needed. Full hockey gear is recommended but the minimum requirements for children are skates, helmet, gloves and knee and elbow pads. Skates and helmets are available for rent. Drop-ins are available.

Skills & Scrimmage

Come and enjoy a great instructor-lead program for all ability levels. Brush up on your skating and hockey skills, and work on your fitness at the same time. Drop-in when it suits you or register for the whole program.

Adult Lesson Ice Basics

This class is appropriate whether you are a brand new skater, a bit rusty or would like to fine-tune your basic skills. Skills include edges, stopping, backwards skating and crossovers.  Private lessons are available for specialized figure skating or power skating skill development.  Call 604-925-7250 for private lesson information. Drop-ins are available.

Parent & Tot Skate

This is a public skate for pre-school children and their parents/grandparents/caregivers to skate together. This is not a lesson. It is a quieter ice time suitable for little skaters.

Figure Skating

This session is a great opportunity for singles figure skaters to work on their jumps, spins and footwork.  The perfect chance to get in a little extra practice time.  This is not a lesson.  There will be no instructors/coaches provided. Office opens at 8:30 a.m. for payment.

Public Skating

This is a great time to come out and skate. We’ll put on the lights and music. Need help with a particular skill? Our skate attendants will be happy to help! No tag, sticks or pucks. Helmets are recommended for all skaters.
