Municipal Hall will re-open to the public for in-person services on Tuesday, April 19. The District of West Vancouver has been providing services during the pandemic virtually: by phone, email, and utilizing other online tools.
We recognize that many people have come to appreciate remote services, and find it more convenient to contact staff via telephone, virtual meetings or email. The District encourages this and will continue to provide those remote services to the public.
For those that prefer to come to Municipal Hall in person, the Customer Service Centre will re-open on Tuesday, April 19. Hours of operation will resume from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
In-person services include:
- Payments – utilities, bylaw notices, dog licences, property taxes, etc.
- Bylaw enquiries
- Financial Services enquiries
Please note that planning and development services, including permits, will continue to be supported virtually. Construction at Municipal Hall is still underway, which means that not all staff will be able to return to the office in April.
Renovations to the Council Chambers are anticipated to be complete soon, and Council Meetings will resume in-person May 9. Committee meetings will have the option to resume holding in-person meetings in May. Please check each committee’s webpage for meeting information.
