West Vancouver Council wishes you a joyful, peaceful, and meaningful Thanksgiving
Oct 9, 2020
We have so much to be thankful for in West Vancouver—friends and loved ones who are safe, dedicated health care workers and emergency responders, a beautiful and caring community, and a magnificent country that provides us with critical services and assistance when we need them.
The strength of our community during the pandemic, and the many acts of kindness and generosity I witness every day, make me very grateful to live and work in West Vancouver. Our residents have shown dedication and worked hard to take care of one another during these difficult times. I am thankful for the efforts each and every one of you have made.
Thanksgiving celebrations will look different this year, as we continue to help bend the curve of COVID-19. For everyone’s safety, many family dinners will be held virtually, while others will have a much smaller number attending. By taking these safety measures, we are showing our family and friends that we care and are helping to keep our community safe.
On behalf of all of Council, I wish you a joyful, peaceful, and meaningful Thanksgiving.
Mayor Mary-Ann Booth
