Persons at Gleneagles Golf Course test positive for COVID-19

Apr 29, 2021

Late yesterday, the District of West Vancouver was informed that two people who were at Gleneagles Golf Course (6190 Marine Drive) for golf lessons on Saturday, April 24 have tested positive for COVID-19.

Vancouver Coastal Health will follow up with the individuals and anyone who has been a close contact.

Gleneagles Golf Course is open today for registered programs and pre-booked tee times. The District has health protocols in place that include sanitizing program spaces at District facilities regularly throughout the day, and certain areas received an enhanced cleaning today.

We know that British Columbia is still in the pandemic and we are taking all appropriate precautions. We encourage everyone in our community to take steps to stay safe and healthy and do their part to reduce transmission:

  • stay home if you are sick
  • wear a mask in all indoor public areas in accordance with Provincial rules/guidelines
  • maintain two metres distance from others at all times
  • wash your hands often
