Did you receive a phone call about lead in your water from someone claiming to work for the District?

District staff have heard reports that residents have been receiving phone calls from someone claiming to work for the District. The caller is informing residents that there is lead in their drinking water and they must schedule an appointment for water testing.

These phone calls are a scam. There are no issues with lead in the drinking water. 

Do not let anyone into your home who you are not expecting.

If you have received a suspicious phone call, please report it to the non-emergency police line at 604-925-7300.
