Canada Post service disruptions

Oct 22, 2018

As early as October 22, 2018, mail delivery may be interrupted or delayed by a possible labour disruption at Canada Post. This potential service disruption may impact you if you are expecting a utility bill, payment from the District or planning to make a payment to the District by mail.

Paying your utility bill

Payments that are not received on time by the District of West Vancouver will not receive the 10 per cent discount, regardless of the actions of an intermediary, such as Canada Post.

  • third quarter utility statements will be mailed at the end of October
  • payment due date is November 30, 2018

View your bills online and e-billing

You can receive email notifications when your tax and utility bills are ready, keep up-to-date on your account balances and avoid a loss of discount by creating an online account through MyDistrict. After you log in, you can view current or past tax and utility bills and check your account balance.

Note: The first time you log in, you will need an account number and access code from the front of the utility statement or property tax bill.
