Calling young citizens of West Van: Apply to join the North Shore Young Citizens' Forum

The North Shore Young Citizens' Forum is an initiative by North Shore Community Resources and City Hive that aims to increase civic engagement in young people. The forum consists of a diverse group of young adults between the ages of 19 and 39 who live, work, or study on the North Shore.

Members have opportunities to learn more about local government processes, connect with other young people, and be involved in shaping the future of North Shore municipalities.

In 2019, the North Shore Young Citizens' forum worked to research, study, and make recommendations to Council that would improve the pathways for younger citizens to participate in local government.

Applications now open

Applicants with a range of experiences, familiarity with civic processes, and areas of interest are all invited to apply. No previous experience or background knowledge is necessary.
