Mark Koropecky (Surf Architecture on behalf of Mulgrave School) has applied for a development permit to allow for two new gymnasiums and associated facilities on the east wing of Mulgrave School. The development permit to allow the gym complex was approved by Council on May 27, 2019. Another facet of the proposal includes rezoning portions of the Mulgrave School site from RS8 to PA1 to allow school uses throughout the school site.
A Public Hearing for the rezoning was held on June 24, 2019, and 2nd and 3rd reading was also provided by Council on that date. Bylaw 5021, was adopted on July 22, 2019.
