The District received an application for a Heritage Alteration Permit for 4727 Piccadilly South in the Lower Caulfeild neighbourhood.
A building permit for the property has been issued (July 20, 2012).
The proposal
The proposal is to alter the existing single family dwelling to improve the internal layout and functionality of the floor plan. The exterior alterations include lowering an existing roof line and removing a large deck; no changes to the existing landscape are proposed. The building exterior will be refinished to match the existing materials.
Features of the proposal include
- Alteration of the existing roof line and removal of a large front deck
- Replacement of the old deck sliding doors with new windows
- Creation of a new front entrance
- Improve the layout of the main floor area
- Add a master ensuite
