4369 Erwin Drive (Coach House)

The Director of Planning and Development Services considered and approved Development Permit 19-114 on October 7, 2020. The permit approves the form and character and allows for a detached secondary suite (coach house) at 4369 Erwin Drive.

The District has received an application for a Detached Secondary Suite (a Coach House) at 4369 Erwin Drive. 

The Director of Planning and Development Services is delegated the authority by Council to consider and approve form and character development permit applications for detached secondary suites. Council previously approved the variances applicable to the coach house (front yard setback reduction and height variance for a single storey coach house). 

The proposal includes a modern architectural aesthetic and is one storey tall with crawl space beneath. All significant trees within the boulevard of Erwin Drive will be maintained and a landscape plan implemented onsite. The coach house is slated to be built alongside the previously approved single-family dwelling. 

As part of the consideration process, neighbours within 50 metres of 4369 Erwin Drive will receive written notice about the application and will be given two weeks to provide comments to staff on the proposal. When neighbourhood notices are distributed, this page will be updated with the date when comments must be received by.
