3180 Travers Avenue

Council approved a rezoning at 3180 Travers Avenue. The approved rezoning facilitated a new single-family dwelling (with an inground swimming pool). Overall, the rezoning included two facets: (1) M1 lands were rezoned to RS4 which rectified a historical surveying error and now allows the entire property to be zoned RS4; and (2) Amended Section 851 of the Zoning Bylaw to allow the waterfront boundary to be determined from the current natural boundary (as determined by surveyor). 

The zoning bylaw amendment was given first reading by Council on February 7, 2022 and a public hearing was held on March 7, 2022. The zoning bylaw amendment was subsequently adopted on March 7, 2022 following closure of the public hearing.
