2905 Marine Drive
The District has received a formal development application for a townhouse proposal at 2905 Marine Drive. The proposal aims to rezone the site to facilitate an eight-unit townhouse development in compliance with Official Community Plan (OCP) policy 2.1.4. The three-storey townhouse proposal includes underground parking accessed from 29th Street.
In compliance with District public engagement requirements, the applicant completed a Public Information Meeting (virtual) on January 27, 2021.
The application was considered and supported by the Design Review Committee (DRC) on June 17, 2021. The applicant is implementing improvements to the project as instructed by the DRC and the proposal continues to be reviewed by staff.
Overall, the proposal requires Council approval of an OCP amendment, rezoning and development permit. As is standard practice, there will be opportunities for public input as the proposal advances
