2195 Gordon Avenue

The District approved a rezoning and associated Official Community Plan amendment for the District-owned site at 2195 Gordon Avenue on July 14, 2020.

The District rezoned the site in order to allow for up to three multi-family residential buildings including an adult day centre. A maximum of two 6-storey buildings (secured as rental only tenure) and one 8-storey building is permitted to allow for strata condominiums.

The District also amended the OCP in order to include Development Permit Area Guidelines applicable to the site, intended to direct the form and character of future development.

There is no imminent redevelopment slated for the site at this time. Redevelopment of the site will require the approval of a Development Permit which requires Council approval and further public feedback at a later date.
