Parking Permits

Resident Parking Permit

Resident only street parking permits are available for residents in certain areas. Please note that street parking is not guaranteed and the space in front of a residence is not for the exclusive use of the adjacent property.

Every property owner is encouraged to ensure there is adequate on-site parking for residents so that street parking can be used for contractors, deliveries, and guests.

Apply for a Parking Permit

Residents in the areas below can obtain a permit by emailing [email protected].  A copy of the vehicle’s insurance papers reflecting the address of the permit area must be attached to the email.  Your invoice will be emailed to you which can be paid online or by mailing a cheque to the Municipal Hall, 750 17th Street, West Vancouver, BC  V7V 3T3.

The parking permit is valid for the calendar year. A renewal notice will be sent to you in December each year.

Note for Horseshoe Bay: In recognition of the added demand for street parking that will result from construction of new multifamily developments enabled through the Horseshoe Bay Local Area Plan, the Engineering Department will be reviewing the resident permit parking program and anticipates amending the Traffic and Parking Bylaw to eliminate the provision of resident parking passes for new multifamily developments in Horseshoe Bay.
