Containers (blue) stream:

  • disposable paper and plastic cups
  • rigid plastic containers
  • tin and steel containers
  • aluminium foil and foil containers
  • gable top and aseptic containers (such as milk cartons and juice boxes)
  • frozen dessert boxes (usually ice cream)
  • spiral-wound paper cans (most common are juice concentrate)
  • empty aerosol cans

Paper (yellow) stream:

  • newspaper
  • cardboard coffee sleeves
  • mixed paper
  • small cardboard

Garbage (black) stream:

  • chip bags
  • candy wrappers
  • drinking straws
  • plastic cutlery
  • diapers
  • Styrofoam
  • non-recyclables
