The District is conducting work to seismically upgrade Municipal Hall. Visitors will notice construction fencing, changes to access within Municipal Hall and relocated visitors’ parking as a result.

Short-term projects

Friday, August 16 to mid-September

  • Queens Avenue, between 15th and 19th Streets, will be open to local traffic until mid-September. Details.

Tuesday, September 17 to Tuesday, September 24, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

  • Intermittent single lane alternating traffic on Marine Drive between West Bay Park and Gleneagles Community Centre due to Telus utility maintenance

Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25

  • Single lane alternating traffic on 6600 block Marine Drive for tree trimming and boulevard maintenance

Long-term projects

Starting the week of August 12

  • Intermittent traffic delays on Marine Drive between Taylor Way and Park Royal due to RapidBus (B-Line) construction. Details.

Late-August through November

  • Intermittent traffic and parking restrictions across the District for the Sewer Rehabilitation Program. Details.
