Ambleside Park
Family and friends can head to Ambleside Park to celebrate the Persian New Year with live musical performances, food, and fire jumping—a tradition that symbolizes good health and luck for the coming year.
Note: This event is being hosted by the Iranian Canadian Congress of BC.
Road closures
Expect temporary road closures around Ambleside Park between 4:30 and 11 p.m., during the Nowruz Fire Festival event.
The following roads will be closed to all vehicle traffic:
- 13 Street between Marine Drive and Ambleside Park
- Bellevue Avenue between 13th Street and 14th Street
Please be aware that there will be no vehicle access to the underground parking at the Grosvenor Ambleside during this time. Businesses in the area will remain open with pedestrian access.
