Council allows backyard chickens in West Van
It all started when a young resident attended a Council Meeting on November 24, 2014, and asked Council to change the bylaw to allow her to keep chickens at her home.
From this request came a staff report, a public consultation process, community support, and finally, approval of the bylaw on April 4, 2016, to allow backyard chickens in West Vancouver.Read more

Ambleside Waterfront Plan Update
We're entering the next phase of consultation on elements of the Ambleside Waterfront plan.
After a public launch of the plan, three open houses, numerous stakeholder meetings and a public survey, we have heard how important the waterfront is to residents. The survey closed on March 10, and staff are currently analyzing input from the community.Read more

Ambleside Skatepark opening April 24
Home to local skateboarders for over two decades, the Ambleside Skatepark is officially re-opening after months of renovations.
