Information Meetings about tree cutting regulation on private property

Publish Date:
Oct 27, 2017

Protecting trees on private property is important to West Vancouver residents. Earlier this year, the District appointed a group of citizens to the Interim Tree Bylaw Working Group to recommend a thoughtful and balanced approach to:

  • maintain trees in our neighbourhoods
  • balance with light, views, property enjoyment and safety
  • define the ways we can all do our part

The conversation started in 2016 and now, after many months of work, the working group has developed features for a permanent bylaw to share with residents for review and comment. Your input will help the working group’s final recommendations to Council later this year.
