ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
All food vendors selected to participate in the event are required to obtain a West Vancouver Special Events Business Licence. The business licence application does not need to be submitted until the vendor has been confirmed as part of the event.
The application form is available here and should be submitted to Bylaw and Licensing Services at Municipal Hall. Vendors should specify “West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest Food Vendor” under the Business Description section.
Vendors are also required to complete a Vancouver Coastal Health - Temporary Food Service Application and submit it to West Vancouver Special Events.
A fee of 15% of all earnings must be provided to the District of West Vancouver.
Food trucks must be able to arrive on the morning of Friday, June 6, and stay overnight until Saturday, June 1 at 10 p.m. There will be overnight security provided.
Food trucks must be ready to fully operate on Friday, June 6, from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
An eco deposit of $100 is required to ensure cooperation with our zero waste/recycling program. This deposit will be returned if the following requirements are met:
Participants must sort their waste into recycling stations and not leave any materials behind.
Styrofoam, single-use condiments, plastic straws, and balloons are not permitted.
